Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh is an Indian actor who was born on 17 October 1992. The majority of her films are in Tamil or Telugu however she has a role in some Malayalam ones. The actress was honoured with the National Film Award as Best Actress in the year 2018 in the role of actress Savitri which was in the Telugu film Mahanati. The film also won three SIIMA Awards were also given to her. Also, she received a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy has the father of film producer G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her initial career path was an actor for children. After completing her studies in Fashion Design, she was back to acting. She starred in her debut major role as a lead actress in Geethaanjali (2013), a Malayalam feature film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began working on films that weren't Malayalam in the year 2015. The actress also signed on to be a part of several Tamil film simultaneously. The director it was A. L. Vijay, with Vikram and Vikram, who premiered Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The film didn't fare very well, but it did get released. The busy schedule she had throughout the year meant that she had choose to stay out of movies that she was working on, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, in order to take on bigger projects. In the end, she worked on two films in collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan quickly, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also playing the leading role for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari along with Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to be Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. In 2015, the film was delayed, and reports suggest that Janakitho Nenu will be released in September of 2020. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and was starring actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was cast opposite Vijay on screen in Bairavaa by Bharathan that premiered on January 17, 2017. Also, she was as a character in Tamil film Paambhu sattai and Telugu film Nenu Local in 2017.
