Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman. She is the owner of control of the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association and currently acts as the association's president. Buss hails born in California was born into an extremely wealthy family. Their father Jerry Buss was a real-estate tycoon, who was later the proprietor of the Lakers and other sports businesses. The emotional strain she felt was exacerbated when her parents separated in the year 1972. Her family's business was started at the age of 19 as general manager for the Los Angeles Strings tennis team. The team was later renamed her own Los Angeles Blades professional roller hockey team. Before becoming vice president for the Lakers, she served as president of the Great Western Forum. Buss along with her five siblings and brothers as well as their father who was the owner of the Lakers and controlled them up to his passing away in 2013, received this ownership through the trust.
